IUPDATE: I've put this board and another together in a better quality recording    • Don't watch the entire video without ...   I asked my wife to kindly bring home the keyboard I built her for the office to see how it is doing and to see for myself if it really was as bad as I remembered.... Well, take a listen. This time it was recorded on the Neumann KM-184 into an Audient ID14 and -4dB of gain was added. It is in fact as loud and shrill as I recalled. There is a very pronounced 7k to 8k spike in the sound that just hits different. My wife thinks it is superior and that clicky Lyfe is best life is best life; and I'm just left with the motto of, "happy wife, happy life!" Clearly this is just a preference thing and I will say that when you are mentally prepared to do a MonkeyType run, this board does have a oddly satisfying quality about it. But, this isn't something I could even imagine daily driving. But anyways, apologies to Shoobs for recording this all again and continuing the Blue Bomb meme switch, and to Glarses for using his handsome face in the lower right of the Burple Bruhmat (btw, best color bruhmat imo)...but I felt I needed to get his recorded on a better microphone setup than I had last time. Anyways, will be looking forward to finding some time to stream before Christmas 2021 to put together a super budget keyboard for my father-in-law and a quick build for my wife. Not a new keyboard, but something adjacent because I'm way too far into this hobby and can't help myself. Oh and I'm also going to do a cleaning of my wife's AT101W at some point. The black Alps have seen better days so it is due to get a cleaning.
