Synodality in Action: Stories from the Life of the Paris Eparchy

The documentary about the Paris Eparchy is composed of eight stories, each describing various aspects of the life of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC) in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Switzerland. Director : Petro Didula “The movie was shot between 2016 and 2019, and therefore is a retrospective of the eparchy”, adds Bishop Hlib Lonchyna. “Many things have changed since. However, the documentary remains relevant as this experience lives and develops into new shapes and dimensions, also facing new challenges.” The movie is available on the eparchial YouTube channel in three versions: Ukrainian without subtitles, with English or French subtitles. “We hope that the movie Synodality in Action will become a sign of hope, unity and solidarity in the time of pandemic. Faith in the Resurrection, one’s relations with God and one’s neighbour, unity – these are the transversal ideas of the movie”, said Olga Vokh, co-producer of the film.
