Tokyo JAPAN - Day 7: SUMIDA CITY Day VII: Back on our schedule! hitting this one hard, to Asakusa and a bunch all around. First time really needing some help, we had to change trains and were unsure which to go on based on google maps vs what signs we saw. At the last second a guy pointed us in tht right direction to jump on a train leaving that moment... Well we made it! Definitely an older part of the city/train station. Stopped at the visitors center immediatily to use the restrooms, and then through the main gate. This was a weekday also and still PACKED. Lots of little shops, and things to check out, but lots doestn even put it into perspective. there is so much. I enjoyed this market more than the others though with many more quick bite options, and of course the temple backgrounds are great! Crossed the bridge heading toward the Asahi Beer headquarters, and got lost again! Must be a day for confusion. We just didnt know which building it was.. But what a sight to see, perfect pit stop to sit above the city and look over everything! We started making our way out, with plans to swing by the tokyo sky tower and just check it out, as that was our original plan of the day but didnt get tickets in time. Massive mall of course within the base of the tower, so we got some chinese buns and dimsum stuff to eat later. Found the most random train station entrance, and made our way back.
