Incorperated on May 28th, 1902, the Laona and Northern was a common-carrier railroad running from Laona, Wisconsin, 8 miles north to an interchange with the Soo Line at Laona Junction, Wi. While the railroad no longer runs to Laona Junction, they still operate their pride and joy, the Four Spot. During the summer months, you can still take a ride to Camp 5 behind the Four Spot, a 1916 product of the Vulcan Iron Works of Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania.
