Flying at the Singapore Airshow, the Jupiter Aerobatic Team (JAT) is the official military aerobatic display team of the Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU), based at Adisutjipto Air Force Base in Yogyakarta. Formed in its current iteration in 2008, the team is operated by the 102nd Education Squadron (Skadik 102) and is composed entirely of active-duty flight instructors. The team utilizes six KAI KT-1B Woongbi turboprop trainers, which are painted in a distinct red and white livery to mirror the colors of the Indonesian national flag. The name "Jupiter" is derived from the standard call-sign used by Indonesian Air Force flight instructors. ___________________________________________________ Aviation International News https://www.ainonline.com Business Jet Traveler https://www.bjtonline.com FutureFlight https://www.ainonline.com/futureflight Leeham News and Analysis https://leehamnews.com/ Subscribe to the daily AIN Alerts newsletter https://www.ainonline.com/ain-alerts-...
