Loktak lake is near Moirang district in Manipur, which is around 45 kms from Imphal, the capital city of Manipur. To get to Loktak you need to reach Moirang first. Loktak lake the largest fresh water lake in North East India and is also one the best tourist attractions in Manipur. Things to do near Loktak Lake, Manipur 1. INA War Museum This is an absolute must visit, we could unfortunately not visit this museum as it was closed as it was a monday ( so avoid monday) 2. Keibul Lamjao National Park This is the worlds only floating national park 3. Chaoba Ching view point 4.
