In this video, I take you through the step-by-step restoration of this very old antique writer's slope/box. I transformed this well-used piece of history into a functional piece without removing too much of its character and charm. This box was extremely challenging and tested my patience more than once. Repairing the veneer damage, re-lining the velvet, and recreating the brass shields certainly taught me some new skills.
