We are unboxing a 27,000 Btu pool heater that is a direct plug in with a 119-120V plug with mini breaker attached so you can plug into your grid outlet 110V or off grid outlet 110V outlet. We picked this up from eBay for $567 with free shipping. Purchased a 2 year aftermarket Allstate warranty that covers shipping to get fixed, repairs and shipping back to you. If they can’t fix, they will credit you to purchase another unit on eBay. This pool heater is for a 7000 gallon pool. I bought it to run with my 35000 Btu pool heater that is 240V and for a 10000 gallon pool. I plan on running both during the day with off grid solar and maybe the 27,000 Btu pool heater overnight on EG4 LiFePO4 battery bank to keep out pool 84-90 degrees over the winter. We went swimming the other day, December 15, 2025. It was 89 degrees out and the pool water was 90 degrees. This video is an unboxing and review of a Varool Fay 27,000 BTU 110-volt pool heat pump (0:01). purchased this refurbished unit from eBay for under $600, including free shipping, and also bought a 2-year Allstate warranty (0:01, 1:49). Key points about the pool heater: • Condition and Packaging: The unit arrived in a "pretty beat up" box (0:29), but emphasizes that "it's what's inside that counts" (0:31). Refurbished units often have cosmetic dents (1:14) but may never have been used (1:34, 2:56). • Installation and Components: The video shows the included parts, such as feet, union valves for plumbing connections, and a drain plug with a hose (4:00). It comes with a user manual for installation and a guide for connecting to a Bluetooth app (4:36). • Power and Efficiency: This 110-120V unit uses around 15 amps (5:44) and draws approximately 1,000-1,300 watts (7:06). It's designed for pools requiring 1,500 to 2,000 gallons per hour of circulation (5:27). running it for two days flawlessly (3:54). • Comparison and Use Case: planning to run this 27,000 BTU heater overnight alongside their existing 35,000 BTU 240V pool heater to maintain a pool temperature of 84-90 degrees (3:32, 5:51).
