Severn Valley Railway - (Welcome Back) 75069 From The Footplate

On Saturday 75069 hauled its first passenger trains for 22 years. The overhaul last 9 years and with a considerable amount of money spent on getting the loco back in traffic, it was considered one of Bridgnorths biggest overhauls in recent years. After going out on many light engine and loaded test runs in December 2018 and after the final few coats of paint. The loco was ready for the 2019 season. Here we join the footplate from Bridgnorth to the top of Eardington, in its first run out of Bridgnorth. A big thank you to Graham Bennett, Oli Huxley and Will Marsh for allowing me to do this and get some fantastic footage. A big credit must go to everyone at Bridgnorth involved in the overhaul of the loco, after seeing it 9 years ago, in some what of a sorry state. Its fantastic to see it today, back in steam. Not only does it look great. But it sounds brilliant and is sure to be a favourite amongst the crews.
