Folklore suggests that the five saints meditated on the rocks before continuing their spiritual journey. The most scenic route towards Panjpeer Rocks is through the tourism highway towards Kotli Sattian. Take a detour midway on the link road between Lehtrar road and Kahuta road. This road had twists and turns unlike any other road, scenic and through dense forests. I stalled my bike on the off road track but never dropped it, my first visit to the place but forever etched in my memory. The area includes the Punj Peer Shrine, where the footprints of the saints are believed to be etched on the stones, and also features the Narar Waterfall, a natural waterfall with deep green water.
