Today I will take you on a walking trip to the beautiful, historical place in #Arhus city of #Denmark, named Den Gamle by or the old town in English Opened in 1914, the #museum is one of its kind, the first in the world #open-air museum, concentrating on town culture rather than village culture. It serves more than four hundred thousand visitors per year. More than 75 #historical buildings were collected from 20 townships across the country The oldest structure is a storage house from #Aalborg from the year1550 and the youngest is a garden pavilion from the 1909 Country Exhibit in #Aarhus it includes The largest and most impressive buildings the Coin Master's Mansion from Copenhagen (c. 1683), the Mayor's House from Aarhus (c. 1597), a merchant's house from Aarhus (c. 1723), and the Aalborg Estate from Aalborg (c. 1570 and 1807) #walking ‪@meetmelodiesbox‬
