In this Week 2 “AI Resources” demo for PHYS 4A, I show you a few AI tools you can use *as a tutor* (not as an answer generator) while we work through early kinematics. In this video: • *CoA Physics Tutor (custom GPT):* how to use it like office hours-on-demand, and what to do when it hits “guardrails” (it may stop short of giving a full solution). • *How to ask good physics questions to an AI tutor:* show your setup, your attempt, and what you’re stuck on—then ask for the next step or *a check of your reasoning*. • *NotebookLM course notebook:* how the notebook can summarize, answer questions, and help you build intuition *using course sources*. • *Mind maps for Week 2 (Kinematics):* using a mind map to organize key ideas, definitions, and the “big picture” connections between concepts. • *Most important tip:* these tools depend heavily on the **sources you select**—if you select the wrong sources (or too many unrelated sources), you can get confusing results.
