Hey, welcome! This is the fourth video from SDC, but only the third build; you would know what I mean if you watched the first few videos, and by looking at the "# of views", you haven't. Well, you should; The Halfling and The Dragon has some pretty good info and techniques that could help the beginner in this hobby. The Once and Future... also has a couple of concepts that could prove helpful, including a new way to use toilet paper. I digress. This build comes from my early-on idea of building some of the more iconic rooms from the early days of Dungeons & Dragons, which I haven't completely abandoned yet. It is the tiered, aquarium/desert room from module S2, White Plume Mountain. Adventurers are, basically, hired to retrieve three super-powerful magic items from a complex built within a smoking mountain by some crazy wizard, Keraptis. Whether the adventurers get to keep the prize is another matter. This build took a very long time and almost 'broke' me more than once, but, I persevered and finished it (pt. 2) and I think it turned out rather nicely. Where I'm going to put it is the next discussion. So, sit back, relax, and watch to see if I can put together a passable Room#26 from White Plume Mountain, written by Lawrence Schick (he used it to try to get Gary Gygax to hire him) in 1979.
