Haft Tanan Stone Museum, Shiraz, Iran Introduction (our special thanks to Pouyan Behrouzi, Razmafzar Iran) The Haft Tanan Stone Museum, nestled in Shiraz’s historic Haft Tanan Garden, is among the city’s most remarkable cultural attractions. Established in 2009, the museum showcases an exquisite collection of stone artifacts and historical objects spanning diverse eras. Location & Architecture Situated north of Hafez’s Tomb at the foothills of Mount Chehel Mogham, the museum occupies a restored Zand-era (18th-century) mansion, formerly known as Zainat al-Muluk House. The building itself is a masterpiece of Zand dynasty architecture, featuring intricate stucco work, vaulted ceilings, and traditional Persian garden integration. Collections The museum is divided into two distinct sections: Stone Museum: Displays ancient stone carvings, inscriptions, and tools. Tile Museum: Exhibits rare Persian tiles, including lusterware and mosaic panels from Islamic periods. Significance Offers insights into Fars Province’s lithic heritage (Achaemenid to Qajar eras). The garden setting reflects classic Persatecture (Persian garden-museum synergy). Join this channel to get access to perks: / @razmafzartv
