In episode 115 of Whisky in SV, Ralf and I did a blind comparison of Springbank 18 Year from 2024 (which is matured in 100% ex-bourbon barrels), against the Kilkerran 16 Year from 2023. Going in, I was almost sure that I would prefer the Springbank 18, since it is one of my favorite Springbanks to date! However, as it turned out, on his occasion, my preference was definitely for the Kilkerran.
