This was the hub of the Greenhills community and it still is to this day. Some of the stores and offices that filled the mall in the past were the drug store, the IGA store, a bank, Gil's Variety Store, The Hitching Post, United Dairy Farmers, the Public Library, Gilke Windows, Recker & Boerger Appliances, Doctor Schnur and others.
