September 九月 A Chinese folk song by Zhou Yunpeng 周云蓬 Note: The following translation was done on my own, so it is not good enough to extend the original aura of the poem. Just for reference for those who don't understand Chinese language. About the song composer and singer Zhou Yunpeng, see his website: http://www.douban.com/artist/zhouyunpeng Please refer to wikipeddia for more info about the poet Haizi: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hai_Zi September Wild flowers spread across the grassland that once witnessed deaths of all the gods The wind comes afar, afar from a place further than remoteness. My tweedle is sobbing, without tears. I returned the remoteness from afar to the grassland. One is called wood, one is called horsetail. My tweedle is sobbing, without tears. Only in death, may wild flowers grow densely in the remote place. The moon is like a mirror, hanging high over the grassland, reflecting days and nights of thousands of years. My tweedle is sobbing, without tears. Alone, I whipped the horse, traversing the prairie.
