In this video I'll walk you through my complete process of making marbled paper, from mixing the size (both methyl cellulose and carrageenan) and preparing the papers and paints, to making, printing, drying, and flattening your designs. I've added in as many other insights and troubleshooting tips as I could along the way in hopes of making your marbling a success. If you haven't seen Part 1 of this series then it's really required viewing if you're considering giving marbling a try. In it I explain all the terms and materials used in this video. You can find it here:    • Paper Marbling Fundamentals: Part 1 - Tool...   For easy reference, here's a list of the measurements presented in the video, in both metric and imperial. These are suggested ratios; feel free to adjust them based on your own results. Size Methyl Cellulose Powder: 12 grams per litre (2 tablespoons per quart) of distilled water. Once mixed, thin with more water if necessary. Carrageenan Powder: 14-20 grams per litre (1.5 - 2 tablespoons per quart) of distilled water. Once mixed, thin with more water if necessary. Mordant Alum: 25 grams per 250 millilitres (1.5 - 2 tablespoons per cup) of distilled water. In future I'll add on to this series with more advanced techniques and tips, but I'll be happy to field any questions you may have right here.
