A guide for finding and catching Mesprit or Cresselia in the Pokemon games. This is what I see as the easiest and the most efficient way to go about it (without using a Master Ball that is). I did not use any cheats during the making of this video, so this should work on any version of the game. Some notes: "Reset the game" means turn the DS off then on again. A quicker way is by holding L-R-Start-Select, or "soft reset". Bring Pokemon with Surf, Cut, Rock Smash, and Strength for easier chasing. When using Repel, make sure the first Pokemon in your party is below level 50 and above the levels of the wild Pokemon in that area. Pikachu is another good Thunder Waver; it learns it by level-up and had good Speed. I had to use a TM73 on my Azelf. Speaking of Azelf, please don't ask why I used a Master Ball on it... that's beside the point. Sneasel is another good False Swiper, though Gallade has higher Attack. As I'm chasing Mesprit, I'm watching the Marking Map. Quick Ball is the best ball to use because it works better at the very start of a battle (like the opposite of a Timer Ball). You only need one--by the way, there's a free one on the bottom right corner of route 222.
