It is an ode to the pretty scenery along the Yanbian region of Jilin and the wholesome lives of the Chaoxian people. “Waves of cool wind portend Chushu, easing into autumn.” Chushu is the second solar term in autumn, meaning “summer nears its end, and heat dissipates”, as its homonym means “getting out of summer”, indicating the passing of scorching heat and the arrival of the crisp, cool air.
