Ex-Transnet executives in court on charges of corruption and fraud

Four former Transnet executives, Anoj Singh, Brian Molefe, Siyabonga Gama, and Thamsanqa Jiyane, have been released on R50,000 bail each by the Palm Ridge Magistrate's court, in Ekurhuleni, Gauteng. They handed themselves over to the police this morning. They are facing charges of fraud, corruption, and money laundering in a tender scandal amounting close to a hundred million rand. The group was arrested three years ago on a related but separate matter to be heard next year. SABC News economics reporter Katlego Legodi has the story.
