The 'Nihangs' then fled to Gurdwara Khichri Sahib, where, after an initial standoff, the police arrested seven of them. One of them was injured in police firing and was being taken to a hospital for treatment, said KBS Sidhu, Special Chief Secretary, Punjab, in a tweet. He said out of the seven, five were involved in the attack on police officials. The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan).
