The structure is made entirely of white marble and is known for its detailed jali work, delicate carving and peaceful atmosphere. Built by Emperor Akbar in the 1570s, the shrine honours Sheikh Salim Chishti, the Sufi saint whose blessing is believed to have led to the birth of Akbar’s son, Jahangir. The walkthrough includes the courtyard, the marble façade, close-ups of the jali screens, and scenes of visitors offering prayers. The dargah remains one of the most spiritual corners within the abandoned Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri.
