She started performing as a teenager for Nickelodeon co-signed tours with Cody Simpson and Big Time Rush before moving to NYC and attending NYU: Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, graduating alongside classmates Maggie Rogers, Raveena and Fletcher. Lane’s first independent EP “Nothin’ But Trouble”, released in 2014 was featured in “Pretty Little Liars” and was given rave reviews from top tastemakers in the industry: Just Jared, Perez Hilton, CeleBuzz, Nylon, and Teen Vogue. Lane’s follow up single "Supernatural" was produced by Scott Jacoby (John Legend, Vanessa Hudgens) and premiered on VEVO. In 2016 after graduating college, Lane promptly signed with Wilhelmina Models, becoming an outspoken activist for body positivity and LGBTQ rights, garnering an impressive social media following of dedicated fans. Lane relaunched her music project in 2019 with the songs “Thirsty” and “Running Back to You”. The Thirsty music video is an all-girl celebration of female sexuality and empowerment, and features plus size Supermodel Denise Bidot, celebrity fashion designer Mery Racauchi, and popular YouTuber Lexie Lombard. “Thirsty” also received support from Lily’s brother, Grammy nominated DJ, Sofi Tukker. Lane played two packed headlining shows in NYC to celebrate her releases in Winter 2019, selling out Rockwood Music Hall and the Mailroom. In 2020, as a one-woman team with no PR or marketing budget, Lily amassed over 500,000 streams across Spotify, Tidal, and Apple Music, wrote and was featured on a song with rap superstar Trinidad James, and released a song "Brand New" in collaboration with Netflix for their show "Get Organized with The Home Edit!". Lane's voice really shines on this track, gritty and dripping with raw emotion, reminiscent of Amy Winehouse and Elle King. In a powerful pre-chorus spanning two octaves, Lily sings "If I'm gonna be the bad guy, I wanna be the worst. It's got to be a blessing to be this much of a curse," reclaiming her power as a badass female with autonomy over her choices, both with her body and music. This year, Lily moved across the country to Los Angeles, assembled an all-female team, and is ready to relaunch as a reformed good girl, with her Devil Music video being released May 21 and her follow-up single to "Devil", "Good Girls", to be released June 21. Lily, who penned the song herself, describes "Devil" as her pseudo-super villain/hero origin story, a soulful midtempo pop-rock banger that depicts growing up as a survivor of childhood sexual abuse in a victim-blaming culture. She is currently setting up sponsorships for upcoming livestream concerts and music videos, and booking headlining and support gigs for tours and festivals starting fall 2021. About Will Nunziata: Will Nunziata is a New York City based director of theatre, film, and television. He is the 2019 recipient of BroadwayWorld's Best Director Award. Recently, Will directed the first NYC revival of the Tony-winning musical “Over Here”, the first NYC revival of the Kander and Ebb musical "The Act”, and conceived/directed the critically-acclaimed off-Broadway revue “Our Guy, Cy: The Songs of Cy Coleman” starring four Tony Award winners — Lillias White, Cady Huffman, Randy Graff, and Judy Kaye — all of whom worked with the late-great composer Cy Coleman. Co-conceived with and starring Tony Award winner Cady Huffman, Will co-conceived, wrote, and directed the critically-acclaimed off-Broadway run of  “Miss Peggy Lee: In Her Own Words and Music" for which he won the 2019 BroadwayWorld Award for Best Director for his work on the show.
