Postpartum hemorrhage occurs when the total blood loss after delivery is more than 32 fluid ounces, whether it is a vaginal delivery or a cesarean section, or C-section, or when bleeding is severe enough to cause symptoms of too much blood loss or significant changes in heart rate or blood pressure. What are the symptoms of postpartum hemorrhage? The following are the most common symptoms of postpartum hemorrhage. However, each woman may experience different symptoms.
