What if Christopher Nolan Detonated a Real Nuke for Oppenheimer? This re-edit of the Trinity Test shows how that could have looked like. I love the movie Oppenheimer, but my only nitpick that I have from the movie is some of the practical choices used to portray the Trinity test. While the practical effects in the opening sequence of the film accurately showed what a nuclear fireball looks like, the Trinity test didn't look nearly as good or accurate in my opinion. That's why I re-edited the trinity test sequence and included some shots of the fireball in the opening sequence. I also included some real footage of the nuclear test "Greenhouse George". The footage of this test is the highest quality footage I have been able to find of a nuclear fireball, and it also closely resembles the Trinity Fireball.
