Jerry visits the Yalaha Bakery in Yalaha Florida. This bakery is located in Yalaha Florida near Leesburg and about 45 minutes north of Orlando. Yalaha Bakery is a Family owned company, founded in 1995 with the philosophy to offer Central Floridians only high quality German products, made with the highest culinary standards. They are known as “A German Bakery like no other” They are open 7 days a week. 8am to 7pm They are proud of making products that are naturally made. Their products are made with Organic flours and are free from chemical preservatives. The shelves are loaded with products made with organic natural sources, using the best ingredients from around the world. Everything is made in their onsite bakery. They offer a coffee bar with lots of options and a huge display case filled with pastries. We were impressed with the many Bread choices, Pies, Cookies, Tarts, Eclairs and much much more. Some of my favorite choices were the Cinnamon and Raisen Bread, Crousants, and the Key Lime tart. They are also making new products, such as Gluten Free Breads and Pastries, and Sugar Free Pastries. The Bakery also has a Deli. They offer a typical German Breakfast from 8am until 10:45 am. And Their lunch menu is available until 7pm To the left of the main building is a wonderful outdoor German Biergarten where you can enjoy the music and food made right the Bakery every Saturday and Sunday from Noon until 3PM.
