After several years in storage in Vancouver BC, #1207 is moved from the Downtown Historic Railway car barn to Cloverdale. This Interurban )#1207) is the last of the BC Electric Railway's original named and wooden interurban trams. Originally painted green and gold and named "Steveston", this was built in 1905 in BC Electric's New Westminster Shops. #1207 operated in Vancouver on the Central Park, Burnaby Lake, Marpole - New Westminster, and Lulu Island lines. #1207 was one of two original BC Electric wooden interurbans (#1208 was also present) used on the final run of the interurbans on February 28th, 1958. #1207 represents the standard electric interurban from the early 1900s boasting a Clerestory roof which allowed for more headroom and more light to be entered through the cabin, #1207 has since been relocated to the Fraser Valley Heritage Railway Society in Cloverdale, Surrey. #train #tram #vancouver #coquitlam #vintage #trolley #historical #restoration Filmed by Larry Smith
