If you’re looking for a fun excursion to do while visiting Destin, Florida, I highly recommend doing the 3 hour tour with Destin Snorkel. We were on the Sand Dollar boat and the captain was fun and amazing! You get bottled water on board for free. They have flippers and snorkels and masks for you to use. They do not have snorkel vests, which you don’t need one where they take you. It’s a shallow area in a jettie where you can touch the ocean floor or swim out to the end of the rocks for a deeper snorkel experience. Great for the whole family! After snorkeling for probably 40-45 mins, they took us to look for dolphins. We were able to see probably 12 dolphins!!! We also got to see baby sharks swimming all around our boat and a few sea turtles near Crab Island. After seeing the wildlife, the captain took us to the shore and allowed us to snorkel around to collect pretty sea shells! I have never seen such pretty, big and whole shells in the ocean before!! We also caught quite a few hermit crabs as well! The captain even had a hermit crab race with all the ones people caught! I would 10/10 recommend taking this snorkel tour with Destin Snorkel while on your visit! You do need to take your own towels, swim suits and sunscreen. As well as cameras and a bag to put it all in.
