2025 Lynk & Co 900 in-depth Walkaround The Lynk & Co 900 was officially unveiled on January 3, 2025, and later launched on March 12, 2025, with deliveries beginning before the end of the month. This six-seater flagship SUV is built on the SPA Evo platform, an enhanced version of Volvo’s Scalable Product Architecture, ensuring a balance of performance, comfort, and advanced technology. It adopts Lynk & Co’s signature "urban opposite aesthetic" design, characterized by modern styling and innovative details. The front fascia features an integrated headlight group and grille arranged in parallel lines, maintaining a strong brand identity while enhancing aerodynamics. One of the standout features of the Lynk & Co 900 is its cutting-edge lighting system, which consists of 10,192 LED units capable of displaying customizable light scenes. These include unique welcome, driving, and parking modes, as well as the ability to showcase personalized messages and animations. Designed for both urban and off-road use, the SUV has a 20-degree shorter front overhang, improving its approach angle for better off-road capability. Additionally, the vehicle boasts a low drag coefficient of 0.291 Cd, optimizing aerodynamic efficiency to enhance fuel economy and performance. Under the hood, the Lynk & Co 900 offers a powerful plug-in hybrid powertrain, featuring a choice between a 1.5-liter or 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine combined with a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor. Depending on the configuration, the system produces between 530 kW and 630 kW (711–845 hp), delivering an impressive level of performance. The hybrid system is supported by advanced battery technology, with a choice of a 43.3 kWh NMC battery or a 52.4 kWh Freevoy LFP/Sodium-ion hybrid battery from CATL. This allows for a total range of up to 1,443 km (897 miles) under CLTC conditions, with an electric-only range between 185 km and 280 km (115–174 miles). Measuring 5,240 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,810 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,160 mm, the Lynk & Co 900 offers a spacious and luxurious driving experience, making it a standout in the premium SUV segment.
