How to make rose infused oil is a video showing you step by step instructions. I added 5 drops of pure rose essential oil to our rose infused oil. This is optional. This infused oil feels so good on my skin. I apply it and spritz rose water and I wake up in the morning and my skin feels so soft and lightly moist. I use a little bit in my hair to make it more manageable. HOW TO MAKE ROSE INFUSED OIL (HOT METHOD) Step 1: Bring a pot of water to a boil, then remove the heat Step 2: Prepare 1 cup of organic rose petals (2-3 roses). Shred the rose petals. Step 3: Pour 1 cup of Jojoba oil into glass jar. (Olive Oil, Almond, or Grapeseed oil works too) Step 4: Swirl the petals into the oil Step 5: Cover the jar and place into the steam pan over the hot water. Warming the oil helps release the scent from the petals. Step 6: When the water cools, remove the jar. Step 7: Allow the jar to sit for 24 hours or longer. Step 8 (optional): Separate the rose petals from the oil. (I used a new clean sock.) Heat up to 2 hours with steam. Don’t allow the jar to touch the water. Allow the jar to come to room temperature and let it sit for at least 24 hours before using. Great for skin and for making DIY body products.
