We will look at a few things you can get started with very quickly that will get you far in setting up your governance strategy. Power BI developers and consumers are normally only on the receiving end of governance decisions. But they should care, and they should understand it if they want to influence the process. If you know what it´s about and, at least, how it works in broad terms, you can influence it. If your admins turn a feature off or limit what you can do, know exactly what it means might help you understand why or influence them to change it (if it´s the wrong decision). We will look at the main components of a Power BI governance strategy, what they mean and why Power BI developers should care.
