Pulling the Perfect Key in Avid - 03 - Hold in Hold Out Masks

Ben Brownlee takes you through the process for pulling a great key in Avid with Boris FX Primatte Studio. In part three we look at what to do when a chromakey can't do it all. We use the built-in version of Continuum Mocha to create simple garbage masks to hold-out areas we don't want. Then we use Mocha's powerful planar tracker to create more complex roto shapes to hold-in important areas that are getting keyed out. Great for reflections or objects that are too close to the color of the greenscreen.
