South Africa 2023: Strand to Oudtshoorn via Cape L'Agulhas 4K It's never ideal to start a video description with an apology, but on reviewing the footage at the end of the day, I found that the mic adapter for my DJI Action 4 camera had failed and the only audio was from the external mic. This is not ideal for a riding commentary. I did consider not bothering, but as some is just about audible, I've edited this together, and can only apologise for the sound. I'm hoping that day two on will be a lot better. So to the video. I start in Strand by the beach to the east of Cape Town and head over the Sir Lowry Pass before heading down the whale route and riding my first dirt road on a BMW R1200GSA. It's then on to the southernmost tip of Africa, Cape L'Agulhas before more dirt roads to the Malagas Ferry and then up over the Robinson pass, nearly running out of fuel, to the overnight stop in Oudtshoorn.
