Home Sweet Home | Lottie Loves Paper | Cocoa Vanilla Studio Daydream

Hey everyone, I have a new layout and video to share today for Lottie Loves Paper. I'm still using the stunning Daydream collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio. Today I am using the rainbow paper - I've been putting off using this iconic sheet because it's sooooo beautiful and special that I wanted to do something amazing with it to do it justice! Perhaps this was too much pressure to put on myself...I'm very pleased that I eventually got over this and finally used the paper! I cut apart the rainbow stripes and distressed the edges. I stitched around the hearts on the largest stripe, and added a hand stitched zig zag on the smallest one. I added pom pom trim to the pale pink stripe too. I then pieced the rainbow back together onto a sheet of white card. I added punched white clouds to the background and also doodled and cut out three large clouds, that I mounted onto patterned paper and stitched around. I added lots of flowers from the Daydream ephemera, some fussy cut rainbows from one of the papers, and added some houses from the ephemera too. I added paper roses, sequins and a rainbow flair badge. I finished off with gold splatters. I love how this one turned out and am so very pleased that I finally used this paper!
