On I go to Phase 5! The first four phases are highlighted on the landing page at http://pjfperformance.net but beyond that it's not clear what happens. It maintains the same structure of 3 lower body days and two core days per week, with the same exercises on days 1 and 5. There was a lot of focus on planting a foot and not allowing the body to "fade" beyond it, in other words converting horizontal momentum into vertical. It was a lot clearer in phase 5 that my technique was flawed and there were many exercises aimed at correcting it. I had some Achilles problems and my adductors have still been a little tight but I could complete most of the exercises with 100% effort. My personal best is still 74cm/29.1" from phase 3 but I will complete phase 6 and hopefully break into the 30's and touch the rim.
