I’m a casual gamer who gained access to the Horizon Worlds beta around February of 2021. I was awed by the worlds I visited and the tools that allow anyone to build them. I wanted to include scripting in my own worlds but found a lot of the tutorials from the point of view of experienced developers or coders. Through long hours of trial and error plus research I was able to figure out a lot about scripting. Then I applied for and was accepted into the first round of the Horizon Creators Accelerator Program, where I learned even more. This video series is my attempt at making what I’ve learned more accessible for those like me with little to no experience in scripting, world building or game design. Everything I present is from my experience, in my own words and is not the only way to go about creating in Horizon Worlds. My hope is that my content saves you some time and let’s you get to creating amazing worlds faster and with more confidence.
