So Gearbest sent out this replacement watch for the Bluetooth calling video. Since we already had this broken one, it was a perfect time to totally strip the watch down to its parts and talk about common problems and their repairs. A new feature on this updated H2 from Gearbest is the inclusion of the Bluetooth Calling app we discussed earlier in the AllCall W1 video. It allows you to tether your watch directly to your phone for making and receiving calls without the need for a SIM in the watch. This is a first for an Android watch, and the concept was introduced recently in this video:    • Now KW88 & ALL Kingwear Android Smartwatch...   I have tried it out, both calling and receiving calls, and it works as expected. The app can now access your contacts, so calls can be made from the dial pad your contacts, or even your phone's call history. You need to tether your watch to your phone directly for this. It doesn't require the regular tethering app to use. Round Android Smartwatches Reply It's not going to be "ported" it is an entire section of the underlying firmware that makes this happen in the Bluetooth stack. The watch you have will either get the firmware released by it's manufacturer or not. It's that simple. Currently only KW99, KW98 Microwear H2 and AllCall W1 are confirmed to have this function.
