The numbers are dizzying. By 2050, one in four humans will live in Africa and the largest cities will be African. Sénamé Koffi Agbodjinou looks with great hope at this demographic shift. In Lomé, this anthropologist and architect is thinking about ways to build future African cities that move away from the pattern of galloping Western megacities and reconnect with the long and rich history of traditional societies.
