In this special travel vlog, we take you along on our complete Vaishno Devi Yatra in Katra — from the trek starting point all the way to the sacred Bhavan and the hilltop Bhairon Temple. We begin our day early at Marriott Katra, where we enjoy a quick breakfast before taking the hotel cab to the starting point of the Vaishno Devi trek. From here, we start our 11 km uphill journey through the serene and spiritual pathways of Trikuta Hills. Upon reaching the Bhavan complex, we keep our belongings safely in the lockers and join the queue for darshan. By Mata Vaishno Devi’s grace, we have a smooth and peaceful darshan inside the holy shrine. After darshan, we take the 3 km cable car ride to the Bhairon Temple, located on a beautiful hilltop blessed with breathtaking views. The cable car journey is scenic, and the visit to Bhairon Temple completes the traditional Vaishno Devi yatra experience. During the trek, we stop for simple and comforting meals like dal chawal and rajma chawal, giving us the energy to move ahead. After visiting Bhairon Temple, we take the cable car back down and begin our 10 km downhill trek towards Katra. Once we reach the base, our hotel cab picks us up and drops us back at Marriott Katra, marking the end of a long, fulfilling, and spiritually uplifting day.
