For our time in the Constitution State we spent the day exploring the historic coastal village of Mystic! Known for its quintessential New England charm, as well as being home to two of Connecticut's most visited attractions (the Mystic Seaport and the Mystic Aquarium), Mystic is the kind of place that you expect to stumble into the filming of a Hallmark movie at any moment! Unfortunately, we didn’t witness your mom’s new favorite Christmas movie being filmed or get to visit the famous Mystic Seaport during our visit (it was closed), but we were able to experience the Mystic Aquarium, take a stroll along the adorable Main Street, take in some incredible sunset views along the Mystic River, and enjoy some delicious seafood before calling it a day.
