TRIP REPORT | VIETNAM AIRLINES 🇻🇳 | Airbus A350-900 | Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi

Xin chào !!!! Welcome to a trip report from onboard Vietnam's national airline, Vietnam Airlines Airbus A350-900 on one of the world's busiest domestic routes from Ho Chi Minh City to Vietnam's captial, Hanoi. This was filmed at a time when Ho Chi Minh City had only two terminals operational & Vietnam Airlines was using T-1 for all its domestic flights. After a bit of plane spotting with thunderstorms in the background, we boarded our Airbus A350-900 which had arrived from Hanoi an hour & above back. We used runway 25L, one of the two runways which is used for departures to get out of a thunderstorm surrounded Ho Chi Minh City. Of course, thunderstorm clouds added with the ambience of a sunset is bound to provide views that makes it hard to forget. The most surprising part of flying Vietnam Airlines Airbus A350-900 was the inflight meal. I was pleasantly taken aback by the size of the meal which I'm sure will give you the same feeling I had when I knew that was our inflight meal. Under the night sky, flying above stars like scattered lights, we landed in Ho Chi Minh just under 2 hours & parked at the international terminal which would result in taking a wonderful bus ride through the apron to drop us off at the domestic terminal.
