The number of flights will increase from 702 to 760 flights per week, an increase of 8.2% compared to the summer schedule, said a statement. International flights will increase by 4% from the current 302 weekly flights to 314. Jazeera Airways will start two weekly flights to Kuwait. Abu Dhabi will remain the top destination with the most weekly flights. There will be 74 flights to Abu Dhabi, 56 to Sharjah, 28 to Dubai, 28 to Muscat, 20 to Doha, 18 to Bahrain, 14 to Singapore, 10 to Kuwait, 16 to Male, 14 to Dammam, 22 to Kuala Lumpur, eight to Colombo, four to Hanimaadhoo (Maldives), and two to Riyadh. The domestic flights will increase by 11.5% from the current 400 weekly flights to 446. Indigo will start Pune and Ahmedabad services and one-stop service to Mangalore and Lucknow. Pune and Ahmedabad will be new destinations. Bengaluru remains the top destination in terms of the number of flights.
