The Unimog in Iceland part 4: Over the rocks & Off the road!

Time for some beautiful tracks and epic landscapes. We drive the old Unimog 404 over some of the famous Icelandic tracks. Starting of with the old road 60, not the tunnel but the abandoned road that used to be the main connection between Isafjordur and Þingeyri. This track can be driven with a 4x4 or 4wd, but at your own risk. The second track is the infamous Svalvogar road 622, stating at Þingeyri. This track was build in the 70s by a stubborn farmer and his bulldozer, it is know for it's beautiful landscapes, boulder beach and overhanging rock formations. We end the trip on the top of Sandafell Mountain for a amazing view of the fjord and Þingeyri, before heading back to the campsite.
