In the future I will devote myself more to making high quality Japanese inspired chef's knives. For this I need the possibility to heat treat longer knife steels. Heat treatment in the charcoal or gas forge is possible, but too imprecise for me. In the video, a "mobile, electrically operated and temperature-controlled heat treatment station for hardening and tempering steel knife blades and tools" is created. Project name: "Here Comes The Sun" or simply: "The Oven" The furnace is used in knife making for heat treatment - normalizing, hardening, quenching and tempering of knife steels. The electrical part of the project was appraised by a specialist electrical company and checked by a master electrician before commissioning.
