Kitesurfing in Dakhla, Morocco

The city of Dakhla is a fairly unknown place in southern Morocco. The main reason to visit is for the world class kitesurfing and beaches. I spent three nights there and found it to be a cool place. There is a Selina hostel but it is outside of town and right on the beach, made for kitesurfers. In town you have a cool mix of Western Saharan culture, language, and script, with the clearly demarcated Moroccan side. Within the city there are some beaches, a nice promenade, and cheap food. Other than that there is not much to do as it is more of a family destination.
