I think it is better to start of learning one well than dividing your time. When you do this you learn about "how programming languages work" and you don't get as confused with pure syntax. 2) Dive into challenging topics - I avoided a few hard classes till the end of my degree. It turns out I would have greatly benefited from taking them earlier on 3) Consider all options when learning. You don't necessarily need an expensive masters degree to break into the field. I racked up a ton of student debt, and don't recommend it! 365 data science is a great option, also this is a link to my favorite free resources:    • The Best Free Data Science Courses Nobody ...   4) Internships & Research - I really focused hard on my grades. In the long run they didn't matter as much as my data science internships and potential research opportunities. 5) Clubs & Groups - I wish I had made friends with people that had similar interests as me.
