AWA incandescent (ft. Tyco LED) traffic lights @ Glenferrie Rd & Wakefield St, Hawthorn

This set of traffic lights were installed all the way back in the 1990s (or early 2000s?) and featured AWA incandescent traffic lights, older AEI pedestrian buttons, and older AEI audio-tactile units, a fibre optic “GIVE WAY TO PEDS” sign, and the masts even have no paint on them too. In 2008-2009, all masts and the bottom half of the cantilever have been painted yellow to look “old”. In 2016, two of the original AEI pedestrian buttons were replaced with a Braums and a newer AEI pedestrian button. Additionally, one of the AEI audio-tactile units had its sound card replaced with a QTC. In 2017, the 5-aspect roundel and left turn light on the southeastern side had its green roundel replaced with a Tyco LED, along with its frame replaced. In 2019, the said traffic lights was replaced with Tyco LEDs once again, with the roundel being a CLS and the arrows being an LED array. Between 2022-2023, the fibre optic “GIVE WAY TO PEDS” sign was replaced with a Hi-Lux LED type. Finally between 2022-2026, two more pedestrian buttons are replaced with Braums.
