Shed hunting is almost a new national past time. Is it possible to turn your old dog into a shed dog with the right training? Absolutely. I have been interested in shed hunting from the time I was a little boy. We were camping and I stumbled onto an antler and I was intrigued. Over the years I have come across them from time to time, but a year ago I decided to teach my 6-year-old Yello Lab to help. That made all the difference in the world and on a trip to Southern Utah last year we found a monster deer shed. I decided that I was going to turn her into a deer antler dog.
