My First Visit To SCARBOROUGH - It Totally SURPRISED ME!

This is very exciting. Today I am in the beautiful North Yorkshire coastal town of Scarborough for the first time - situated in between the popular resorts of Whitby and Bridlington. In today’s 4K walking tour I’ll be taking you along the seafront of Scarborough’s South Bay and up into the old town as I explore all there is to see and do. If you’re looking for a charming, dog friendly, seaside town with shed-loads of attractions then this is the place to go this Autumn! Walk with me as I start out at the famous bridge next to The Grand Hotel (which really does stand out on the coastline), head over towards the Scarborough Spa building before descending to the beach. There are so many things to do for all the family along the seafront - arcades, amusements, the big wheel, or you could just relax on the smooth sands of South Bay. Then it’s past the funfair Luna Park before looking around the busy harbour which has plenty of boat trips and an incredible lighthouse. Then we begin the climb up the hill to the English Heritage owned Scarborough Castle, where you can get amazing panoramic views over the town and North Bay.
